So having briefly, possibly too briefly, looked at Paul's poetic picture of the cosmic magnificence of our Lord Jesus Christ we turn a corner to find more about our special relationship to him as believers. As we seek to unpack a few powerful words we should learn important things about the Church, about what we have to look forward to, and how we have any hope at all. It is a wonderful thing to gain insight into the glory of Christ, but then to learn this glory has personal application is truly and richly blessed.
