We are blessed to have Rev. Dave Bindewald back with us to preach and administer the Lord's Supper this Lord's Day. Dave will be preaching from Luke chapter 9, where Peter and John witness the glory of Jesus in the Transfiguration. It's amazing to think about how, as John Calvin points out, even that display wasn't his full glory, but "a taste in part" of "infinite brightness...that cannot be fully comprehended," this side of heaven. The promise is that one day we will see it, and he will be present with us as we humbly contemplate the wonder of that scene!
