It will be a week and a day after the vile and horrible tragedy at The Tree of Life synagogue in Squirrel Hill but it is still very much in the news and on our hearts. So I thought we should talk about it. Or at least some things related to it. In the adult class Sunday morning we were set to consider the resurrection, ascension, and session of Christ, and we still can and might. But first I want us to reflect a bit on some of the “Christian” roots of antisemitism and allow some time for reflection, questions, prayer, whatever. Then I thought we would even at just the second week step away from Hebrews and think a bit about hatred, love, and trying to understand Judaism.
